Quilt of Love

Our lives are like quilts – bits and pieces, joy and sorrow, stitched with love.

Hi Everyone,

I just wanted to show you a quilt I made.  I did the embroidery while watching TV or riding in the car  Then my amazing, talented sister helped me put the squares together.  It would be perfect on a child’s bed, but I haven’t decided yet who to give it to.  Hubby says he wants it. 🙂

[Bruce here: I want it because, should I outlive her, it will be a reminder of her patience and perseverance.  I will touch where her hands have touched. I will wrap it around me and remember her warm loving embrace. And I will smile in anticipation of meeting her in Heaven.]

Pro 31:10, 22, 30  “An excellent wife who can find? She is far more precious than jewels…. She makes bed coverings for herself; her clothing is fine linen and purple…. Charm is deceitful, and beauty is vain, but a woman who fears the LORD is to be praised.”
