Principle One

At the moment of new birth, the Believer enters, by God’s grace, into a relationship with Jesus Christ. This relationship produces joy and hope, as there is growth in knowledge and faith.

[The following scripture passages and questions are here to guide you in your thinking. Summary:

Imagine a billionaire who had an infant son who was stolen from him.  And imagine that the billionaire’s son had no idea who his father was.  That son grew and eventually lived on the streets scratching out a living by any means possible.  Imagine, a young man living in poverty not realizing that he was a billionaire’s son.

A sad story but one lived out by many people who have received Christ as their Savior.  They live in spiritual poverty while they work out their salvation.  They never have a secure happy relationship with their loving Heavenly Father.  Every spiritual blessing in heaven is theirs while they go spiritual dumpster diving to find a little joy and peace. Yes, very sad.
